Cookies

When talking to my parents this week, we reminisced about my grandparent's delicious cookies and pastries. I thought the recipes were lost, but my Dad actually has them. Yesterday, I spent the afternoon making my grandparent's french cookies (Italian pizelle cookies).. heaven for my taste buds! My cookies don't look as good as my grandparent's cookies, but not bad for my first try.

Here's my helper who got tired of waiting for a cookie! As you can tell, Sparky is definitely on the mend after his surgery ~ thanks again for all the kind messages..
